For years, I have heard about Emma Mae Jenkins and occasionally stumbled across her YouTube videos. I used to think her joyful, bubbly, presence was an act, and I would feel uncomfortable with how forward and loving she seemed. It […]
Last year, the film Adrift was released to theaters. Based on a true story, the film was exceptionally done and very well acted! (A movie with Sam Claflin with Shailene Woodley? Count me in!). After watching the movie, I learned that […]
Noise surrounds us wherever we go. Unless we purposefully take a step away and go into a quiet place, we can’t escape it. Even as I’m writing these words, I have music playing through my headphones. However, what happens when we become too dependent on the noise to keep us occupied?
For the last two years, I’ve been following Cole and Savannah LaBrant on social media. Their videos used to appear on my news feed on a regular basis; I loved watching Cole’s vines and Savannah’s Musically videos with Everleigh, her […]
What is love? How do you know when you’re in love? These are just two questions I used to ask, growing up, that have taken me years to learn the truth about. I still don’t know the full answer to the second question; but earlier this year, God revealed to me what love is.
Life is messy. It’s not meant to be a straight path through. The twists and turns are there for a reason. They help us grow; they shape us to become the people we are meant to be. How we react, will show us how far we’ve come and how much further we still need to go!
Salt to the Sea follows three people who are trying to get to freedom during the end of the war in East Prussia. Each has secrets they are holding onto, but they all have a common goal: get onboard the Wilhelm Gustloff.
God leads us on paths we never imagined possible! If you would’ve told me, at the beginning of last year, that I would have my own website/blog that was in my own name rather than a pen name, I would’ve laughed. For years I’ve been scared to share what I have to say with the people closest to me because their opinions are what I look up to the most. I want to impress others with what I believe is one of my talents, writing, but the fear of rejection keeps holding me back.
It wasn’t until October of last year that that fear left me and my mind was finally opened to the idea of creating this website. If it were down to me, this site wouldn’t exist; but because of God/Elohim’s guidance, I have the ability to write this post and publish it for you all to see.
