ONE YEAR. 365 Days. 8,760 Hours. 525,600 Minutes. 😭On October 7th, 2023, life as we knew it shattered forever! I still remember when my dad told me we were at war. What followed was one of the worst days of our lives as we helplessly watched Hamas post their horrific acts on social media. Since then, the war has remained at the forefront of our minds — whether it’s the constant sirens sending us running for shelter from missile attacks or the posters plastered everywhere with pictures of the hostages still in Gaza. Nevertheless, this war isn’t just in the Middle East. The rise in antisemitism worldwide has made many feel unsafe. Everything changed one year ago. Even if we didn’t personally know anyone injured or killed on that Black Sabbath, its ripple effects have touched every one of us. Yet, amidst the darkness, we’ve witnessed God’s hand over this land, shielding us time and again. Though the war is far from over, we stand resolute, committed to fighting for our right to exist and the destruction of these terror organizations. We saw MIRACLES on Tuesday! 🥳 As the Scriptures say, “No weapon formed against us will prosper.” The enemy wanted to destroy Israel, but there were no casualties and only minimum damage from Iran’s attack!! WOW!! I stand in awe of the Lord! He promises to watch over Israel, and He is! May we stand on passages like Psalm 37 and give glory to God for victory!! The battle is His, and He is faithful! So, we do not need to be afraid. Though our enemies are “like the flowers of the field, they will be consumed, they will go up in smoke!” (Psalm 37:20) Hallelujah!! The wicked will not prosper!! So, as you pray for peace, please pray that the people of Israel will set their eyes on the Lord and call out to Him. It’s time for them to meet their Messiah and return to Him! “For those who are evil will be destroyed, but those who hope (trust/wait) in the Lord will inherit the land… Consider the blameless, observe the upright; a future awaits those who seek peace.” (Vs.9,37) AMEN! I recommend reading the whole of Psalm 37, but these verses stood out to me this morning‬ - “Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes. For those who are evil will be destroyed, but those who hope in the Lord will inherit the land. A little while, and the wicked will be no more; though you look for them, they will not be found. But the meek will inherit the land and enjoy peace and prosperity. The wicked plot against the righteous and gnash their teeth at them; but the Lord laughs at the wicked, for he knows their day is coming. The wicked draw the sword and bend the bow to bring down the poor and needy, to slay those whose ways are upright. But their swords will pierce their own hearts, and their bows will be broken. But the wicked will perish: Though the Lord’s enemies are like the flowers of the field, they will be consumed, they will go up in smoke. The wicked lie in wait for the righteous, intent on putting them to death; but the Lord will not leave them in the power of the wicked or let them be condemned when brought to trial. Hope in the Lord and keep his way. He will exalt you to inherit the land; when the wicked are destroyed, you will see it.
