How often do we compromise our faith for the sake of being accepted, recognized, or accomplished in this world? How much are we willing to give up for success, love, and happiness?
The world teaches us that when we chase the desires of our hearts, we will find the fulfillment we’re looking for; however, Yeshua/Jesus says, “Whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it.” (Matthew 16:25) The glamor of this world might be tempting, but it all comes at a cost. What are you losing your soul to today?
Turn your gaze back to Yeshua, pick up your cross, and chase after Him this week; He wants to give you so far more than what this world has to offer!
