Story: Invisibility (Introduction)

I am invisible. I know my parents hate it when I say this, but it’s true. I can’t begin to tell you how many times I’ve been sat on, stepped on, talked over, or ignored. It’s not the life I chose, but it’s the life I’m used to.
Like every situation, being invisible has its perks and disadvantages. The perks are that I can get to class on time without being stopped by friends to talk, another is that I can also be late to class and no one will notice. Now, as I said, there are disadvantages; these are: people running into you, stepping on your feet, forgetting to call on you in class, not being noticed by your other classmates and worst of all, talking but not being heard.
Hi, I’m Sadie McAlester, and this is a story about my invisibility.
